  • Mobile App: Visit the app store from your mobile or tablet device (Apple/Android) to download our application, State Bank Mobile.
  • Mobile Browser: Visit our Website and log in as you normally would using a new device.
  • Text Banking: Log into Online Banking using your desktop computer and follow the instructions below.
    • From the Profile menu, select the Manage Devices icon next to Mobile Banking.
    • Click the Add New Device icon toward the bottom of the page.
    • Under Other Services, enter your mobile phone number and select continue.
    • Follow the instructions you receive via text message.

Mobile Banking FAQs

Are there any fees to use Mobile Banking? State Bank’s Mobile Banking service is FREE; however, fees may apply with the use of additional/optional services such as Bill Pay and Popmoney. You may also incur internet data charges and text/call costs from your mobile service provider or Internet service provider. Check your plan or with your provider for details.

How do I login to Mobile Banking? You will use the same credentials (Username and Password) you use to access your Online Banking account.  You can access Mobile Banking via any method below:

  • State Bank Mobile App: Use our mobile app for easy access to your accounts. If you don’t have the app, visit the app store from your device to download State Bank Mobile, or use our direct links according to your device.
  • Mobile Browser: Visit our website and login as you normally would using a new device.
  • Text Banking: Once set up, simply send a command to the shortcode provided.  To get started with text banking, login to Online Banking and follow the instructions below.
    • From the Profile menu, select the Manage Devices icon next to Mobile Banking.
    • Click the Add New Device icon toward the bottom of the page.
    • Under Other Services, enter your mobile phone number and select continue.
    • Follow the instructions you receive via text message

How do I download the State Bank App? Visit the app store from your device to download State Bank Mobile (search State Bank Mobile), or use our direct links according to your device.

Is an app required to use the Mobile Web Browser? No, you don’t have to have an app to use mobile banking. Mobile web browsers work on any mobile device with internet access. 

What is the difference between a mobile application and a mobile web browser? Both the mobile web browser application and the downloadable mobile application are free and offer easy access to your accounts on the go.  With the mobile web browser, you use the web browser from your phone to type in our website, www.statebankia.com and access your account information.  With the mobile application, you can download our State Bank App to your wireless device.

What is text banking? Text banking gives you access to your accounts via text (SMS) messages on your phone. It’s a fast, easy way to look up account balances by sending a text command to a shortcode.

What accounts can be viewed in Mobile Banking? Any accounts that can be viewed in Online Banking can be viewed in Mobile Banking.

What happens if I get a new phone or change phone numbers? If you get a new phone, you can download the Mobile Banking app and continue to use it just like before. If you have changed phone numbers, you can log into Online Banking to update your account with your new number. To do this, once logged in to your online banking, click on “profile” and “manage devices”. You can delete your old number and add a new device. 

Is Mobile Banking secure? Yes! Your personal information is protected by advanced encryption technology to prevent unauthorized access.

What if my phone is lost or stolen?  At any time, you can quickly disable mobile banking on your device from within Personal Online Banking.  After logging in to your Personal Online Banking from your computer, click on “profile” in the upper right-hand corner.  Go to Mobile Banking and click on the green button that says “manage devices”.  Find the mobile number you wish to disable, click on the “I want to:” drop down box and select the “Stop using this phone for mobile banking.” You may also contact us during regular business hours for assistance!

How do I set up Touch ID for Mobile Banking? Using a Touch ID supported device, turn on the Touch ID on your device by going to “Settings” and selecting Touch ID. Follow the steps to save your fingerprint to your device. Once Touch ID is set up, sign into your Mobile Banking App and select the “more” option located at the bottom. Click on Touch ID Settings and slide the toggle button to turn on Touch ID.

Do I need to keep my mobile banking app and my mobile device operating system updated? Yes, we regularly release new Mobile Banking features and services that may be available only by updating your Mobile App and/or your mobile device’s operating system to the latest version. Watch for updates to ensure you are using the latest version of the App.
