Bristly Bankers

During the month of November, State Bank will be teaming up with local chapters of the American Cancer Society and collecting donations to grow bigger beards and manlier mustaches amongst their bankers.  The fundraiser is a take on what many may know as ‘No Shave November.’

“For every $10 raised toward the American Cancer Society, our bankers will keep their fuzzy face for one more day,” said Kristin Vowell, Marketing Officer for the bank’s eight locations across Northeast Iowa.  “It’s a fun, unique way for us to come together and raise money for an organization that does so much for the communities we serve,” added Vowell.

“We’re hoping our effort will work towards the American Cancer Society’s mission to free the world from cancer and raise some much-needed funds for the organization in the local markets we serve,” said John P. Rigler II, President/CEO at State Bank and one of the 14 bankers participating in the challenge.
